Rangiora is the main town of the Waimakariri District and one of the faster growing parts of North Canterbury, so three quite different kinds of work come up here. We scope each one differently.
Land keeps opening up on both sides of town, including the expanding Bellgrove subdivision on the east side and newer subdivision land on the western edge of Rangiora. These are flat, open sections, which suits a straight run through a new build as full supply and install or labour only. Closer to the centre of Rangiora there are older weatherboard and brick homes, many ready for a bathroom renovation, a recladding or a new deck. Work on an existing house is mostly about what is behind the walls, so we look at it on site before we put a number on it. See renovations and exterior cladding.
Out towards Loburn and Swannanoa, larger blocks mean longer driveways, fencing and groundworks alongside the building work. Our landscaping service covers fencing, digger work and concrete, so one crew can handle the lot.

Newer subdivisions often carry them. We read yours before the plans are drawn.
Most new builds and structural work need consent from Waimakariri District Council, and we factor it into the quote.

Mackla Construction is based in Rangiora and works right across Christchurch, Selwyn and North Canterbury. Most jobs, day to day, are in and around Christchurch, but we'll travel further for the right project, anywhere from Kaikoura down to Timaru.
